Obituary for Norma G. Woolard
Norma Woolard 97 of Harrisburg passed away 1:44 AM Saturday May, 6, 2017 at her residence. Norma was born August 15, 1919 in Equality, IL the daughter of Frank and Mabel Brewner Forester. She married JP Woolard, Sr and he preceded her in death on March 19, 1996. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
Surviving are 3 sons, JP andYolanda Woolard of Eldorado, Mickey and Peggy Woolard of Harrisburg and Don and Nancy Hall of Osmond, NE. 2 brothers, Frank Forester of Harrisburg and Paul Forester of Sandwich, IL and 1 sister Helen Poole of Anna. 7 grandchildren, Tony Hall, Adam Hall, Josh Hall, Mitch Ashburn, Todd Ashburn , Brad Woolard and Jaymi Fitzpatrick.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband JP and a grandson Neal Ashburn.
Graveside services will precede burial at Cottage Grove Cemetery 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 9, 2017 with the Rev. Art Donley officiating. There will be no visitation and those attending are asked to go directly to the cemetery. The J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. For those who wish, memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois. Envelopes may be picked up at the funeral home.
