Obituary for Don Stuby
Don Stuby, age 86, of Harrisburg, Illinois passed away on June 11, 2020 surrounded by his loved ones at his residence. He was born on August 17, 1933 in Harrisburg, Illinois to Harry L. and Nancy Wilson Stuby.
Don was a proud member of the United States Air Force, Dorrisville Social Brethren Church, Masons, Shriners and was a Deputy Sheriff in Mississippi. He married Elaine Williams Stuby who preceded him in death on March 17, 1997 and later married Linda Winters Stuby who also preceded him in death on February 29, 2020.
Surviving are his son, Donald Gene Stuby II of Batesville Mississippi. Daughters, Dawn Kearney of Brandon, Florida and Flossie Williams Stuby Pruitt of Oxford, Mississippi. 3 grandchildren, Sean Gardner Kearney, Briana Skye Kearney, and Eric Mitchell Pruitt.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents, wife Elane Williams Stuby, and wife, Linda Winters Stuby. Brother, John Stuby and sister, Norma Jean Zimmer.
Due to recent restrictions put in place by the State of Illinois due to the COVID-19 virus, we ask that everyone practice social distancing. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 13, 2020 at the Dorrisville Social Brethren Church in Harrisburg, Illinois with Rev. Jerry Wells officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Garden Cemetery in Harrisburg, Illinois. Friends may call from 11:00 to 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the Dorrisville Social Brethren Church. Arrangements in care of the J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home in Harrisburg, Illinois.
