Obituary for Phyllis Price
Phyllis Price, age 74, of Harrisburg, Illinois passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2020 surrounded by her loved ones at her residence. She was born on February 12, 1945 in Eldorado, Illinois to George Casey and Ovah J. Harrawood Jones. Phyllis attended the Little Chapel Church in Harrisburg, Illinois. Simple pleasures such as watching Court TV and her favorite cooking shows brought her such joy, but more than anything, she loved the company of her grandchildren.
Surviving are her Daughters, Lori Price of Harrisburg, Illinois and Chrystal Johnson of Harrisburg, Illinois. Grandchildren, Brenda Price, Seneca Shipp, Brian and wife Macey Berkel, Mark Shipp, Michael and wife Sara Price, Dusty Wilson, Thomas Peppers, Carl Russ II and Justyce Russ. Great grandchildren, Kiragan Sykes, Callie Shipp, Wyatt Shipp, Zaydrian Shipp, O’Ryan Cambell, Brawnsen Cambell, Layla Peppers, Izabella Berkel, Andrew Berkel, and Kolby Childers.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents. Brothers, Bobby Jones, Charles Jones and Paul Jones. Sisters, Betty Austin, Jane Witcher and great grandchild, Devontae Price.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, February 6, 2020 at the Harvest Deliverance Church in Harrisburg, Illinois with Rev. Ownly Williams officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Arrangements in care of the J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home.
