Tom was a very mechanically inclined person as he built a runabout boat in fourth grade and claimed to do his first valve job on an engine in sixth grade. He was a man that could construct anything from a house or build his own paint booth for his hot rods. He was very fond of hot rods and drag racing. In his lifetime, he has built three drag racing cars from the ground up and restoring two other cars. He always enjoyed drag racing and going to car shows. Tom also had a love for the Ohio River. He grew up on the river as a boy and thoroughly enjoyed boating and teaching people how to water ski. He organized several long distance boat trips with his friends to Louisville, Kentucky and Nashville, Tennessee just to name a few. Tom also enjoyed hunting and fishing on his property in the Battery Rock area of Cave In Rock. Tom will be sadly missed by his loved ones and numerous friends.
