Telesforo (“Tato”) Acevedo, 67, of Milwaukee, WI, passed away Friday, February 23, 2018 at Ratcliff Care Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born June 30, 1950 in San Juan, Puerto Rico to Telesforo Acevedo Sr. and Dominga Fantauzzi. He was married to June (Whitehead) Acevedo.
Surviving are his wife, June (Whitehead) Acevedo of Milwaukee, WI, daughters, Gizelle Gonzalez of Milwaukee, WI, and Monica Acevedo of Milwaukee, WI., brother, Marcellino DeJesus of Las Vegas, NV., sister Maria (“Tuti”) Rios of Orlando, FL., grandchildren, Josiah Acevedo, Gabriel Tyree, Tela Tate, Deshon Tate, and Lawrence Silas Jr., and a host of nieces and nephews from the Rios family.
His parents Telesforo Acevedo Sr. and Dominga Fantauzzi preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be at 11:00am on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at the J.M. Weirauch Funeral Home with Rev. Ownly Williams officiating, and burial to follow in Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg, IL.
