Stephen Leo Ragan, age 69, of Harrisburg, Illinois passed away Monday, April 26, 2021 in Evansville, Indiana. He was born on April 21, 1952 in Harrisburg, Illinois to Gene and Bonnie Shetler Ragan. Steve worked as a warehouse manager for R.E.A. Southern Electrical Co-op for many years and was Catholic by faith.
Surviving are his mother, Bonnie Ragan of Harrisburg, Illinois. Sons, Josh Ragan of Harrisburg, Illinois, Bill and wife Emily Ragan of Ridgway, Illinois and Nolan and wife Megan Ragan of New Haven, Illinois. Sister, Beth Williams of Harrisburg, Illinois. Eleven grandchildren, Drake Miller, Lexie Sirtak, Riley Ragan, Alexander Ragan, Andrea Ragan, Hunter Ragan, Penelope Wargel, Ryker Ragan, Elliot Ragan, Avery Ragan, and Emmy Ragan. Sister-in-law Kathy Ragan. Niece, Hayley Marks. Nephews, Zach Ragan, Luke Ragan and Christian Williams.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gene Ragan. Daughter, Kristi Sirtak and brother, Danny Ragan.
A celebration of life will be held from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. Sunday, May 2, 2021 at the Elks Lodge in Harrisburg, Illinois. By request of the family, please dress casual or in Chicago Cubs gear, food will be provided. Arrangements in care of the J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home in Harrisburg, Illinois.
