Obituary for Shirley A. Matic
Shirley A. Matic, age 86, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023 at the Villas of Holly Brook in Harrisburg, Illinois. She was born May 12, 1936 in Carrier Mills, Illinois to Ira and Lossie Dallas Temple. She retired from First National Bank where she worked as a cashier for many years. Shirley married John Matic of Harrisburg, Illinois and he preceded her in death on February 28, 2022.
Surviving are her daughter, Cheryl Matic of Harrisburg, Illinois. One niece, three nephews and special friends, Rocky and wife Martha James of Eldorado, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents. Husband, John Matic. Brothers, Bruce Temple and J.R. Temple. Sister, Lillian Temple.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at the J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg, Illinois with Father Christian Iwuagwu officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg, Illinois. Friends may call from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home.
