Shane Orvik, a cherished son, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2024, in Eldorado, Illinois, at the age of 44. Born on February 5, 1980, in Fredericksburg, Texas, Shane was known for his vibrant spirit and generous heart.
Shane grew up in the warmth of a loving family, including his mother, Joann Jones, and brother, Tony King, as well as the extended Hertlein and Jones families, all of whom he adored deeply.
A dedicated worker, Shane spent many years contributing his skills to Southern Truss, where he was respected and valued for his craftsmanship in construction.
Shane's memory will be cherished and kept alive by all who were fortunate enough to know him. His legacy of kindness, laughter, and genuine care for others will continue to inspire and guide us.
Per Shane’s request there will be no services. J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home in Harrisburg in charge of arrangements.
