Obituary for Sarah Beal
Sarah Murphy Beal, age 66, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2023. She was born August 8, 1957 in Harrisburg, Illinois to Louis Alan and Dixie Lou Brothers Murphy. Sarah grew up attending The First United Methodist Church and Dorrisville Baptist Church in Harrisburg, Illinois.
Surviving are her brother, Louis “Alan” Murphy II of Alton, Illinois. Sisters, Rebecca Lee Taborn of Carrier Mills, Illinois and Katherine Louise Murphy of Harrisburg, Illinois. Several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents.
Graveside services for Sarah will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, September 11, 2023 at Cottage Grove Cemetery in Harrisburg, Illinois with Rev. Les Chamberlain officiating. All that may wish to attend services should meet at Cottage Grove Cemetery. Arrangements in care of the J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home in Harrisburg, Illinois.
