Obituary for Ruth Ann Clark
Ruth Ann Clark, age 84, of Marietta, Georgia passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Harbour Senior Living of South Hills in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was born November 16, 1935 in Kansas City, Missouri to Dewey and Josse Pauline Norcoff Smotherman. Ruth was married to Carroll F. Clark who survives and spent most of her life teaching music.
Surviving are her husband, Carroll F. Clark. Sons, Scott Clark, Doug, and wife Michelle Clark. Sister, Avie Swafford. Brothers, Chet Smotherman and Paul Russon, Jr. Grandchildren Andrew and Hannah and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents.
Graveside service will precede burial at 11:00 AM Friday, January 17, 2020 at Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg, Illinois with Rev. Alan Rhein officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ruth's name to a charity of one's choice.
