Obituary for Ora G. Goolsby
Ora G. Goolsby 95 of Harrisburg passed away Monday, July 17, 2017 in Saline Care Center. She was born July 13, 1922 in Pope County, the daughter of Wiley and Noley Lacy Robinson. She was married to Clyde Goolsby and he preceded her in death. She was a member of Wasson Social Brethren Church and the Rebekah Lodge.
Surviving are 3 sons; Troy Sisco of Harrisburg, Carl Edward “Dickie” Sisco of Harrisburg and Danny Ray (Paula Sue) Goolsby of Eldorado. 2 daughters; Sharon Williams of Eldorado and Janice (Paul) Sprinkles of Tell City, IN and 1 brother Carl Robinson of Gary, IN. 18 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. A daughter in law Judy Goolsby also survives.
She was preceded in death by a stepson Clyde L. (Tubby) Goolsby, 3 brothers; Cecil, Ruie and Ed Robinson and 4 sisters; Maudie Brown, Sylvia Quertermous, Ida Fricker and Alta Rose.
Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home in Harrisburg with the Rev. Don Nelson officiating and burial to follow in Lindale Cemetery. Friends may call Friday, July 21, 2017 from 5 to 7 at the J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home in Harrisburg. The family wishes to thank the Saline Care Center for the wonderful care they provided. For those who wish memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and left at the funeral home.
