Matthew Thornton Cline, age 28, of Cleveland, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at Tennova Healthcare in Cleveland, Tennessee. He was born on July 11, 1991 in Wheaton, Illinois to Bruce and Susan Thornton Cline. Matthew graduated from SIU with a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, worked with the Whirlpool Corporation in Cleveland, Tennessee and was a Navy veteran.
Surviving are his father, Bruce Cline of Harrisburg, Illinois. Mother, Susan Calebrese of Knox, Indiana. Brother, Daniel Cline of Knox, Indiana. Grandparents, Nancy Cline of Marion, Illinois and Marge Thornton of Wheaton, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lyle Cline and Carl Thornton Sr.
Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the Pankeyville Baptist Church in Harrisburg, Illinois with Rev. Charles Allen officiating. Arrangements in care of the J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home.
