Obituary for L. David Weirauch
L. David Weirauch 73 of Eldorado passed away 3:30 AM Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He was born December 29, 1942 in New Haven the son of Lorenz B. and Martha Flo Bayley Weirauch. He was married to Brenda Smith and she survives. David was a retired farmer and was retired from the State of Illinois Department of Agriculture. He loved to cook and enjoyed cook outs and fish fries with his family. He was a passionate barbecuer and he made the best lemonade. He loved his family. He is survived by his wife Brenda, 3 daughters: Kristine and Christopher Brown and Debbie and Tim Davis all of Eldorado and Melissa and Paul Marshall of Mt. Carmel. 1 brother Mike and Karen Weirauch of Harrisburg and 6 grandchildren, Keeton Brown, Kyler Brown, Hunter Davis, Max Davis, Cassy Marshall and Dylan Marshall and 1 great grandson Kaiden Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lorenz B. and Martha Weirauch and 1 sister, Martha Ann Phillips who passed away December 31, 2015. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at the J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home with Dr. Harrison Peyton officiating and burial to follow in West Union Cemetery near Carmi. Friends may call at the J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home 5 to 8 Monday, February 8, 2016.
