Obituary for Kimberly Nicole Winters
Kimberly Nicole Winters, age 37, of Harrisburg, Illinois left this world on July 12th, 2024 at 3:12 AM. Kim was born on August 2nd, 1986 in Springfield, Illinois to Scott Edgar and Joni (Brinkley) Edgar. Kimmy moved to Harrisburg, IL with her mother when she was 2 years old. Her mother, Joni Brinkley married David Hutchcraft, who raised and loved as his own. She also leaves behind her sister and best friend, Christina Lee Hutchcraft, who she proudly cherished. On May 5th, 2012, Kimberly Nicole married the love of her life and high-school sweetheart, Joshua Zane Winters, who survives. Together, Kim and Josh shared 24 precious years together and loved each other to the ends of the earth. Kim was a beloved sister and daughter, loving wife, proud mother of four beautiful children: Aiden Joshua Winters, Shelby Nicole Winters, Sophie Leanne Winters, and Scotti Alexandria Winters. Kim leaves behind many loved ones, including her mother and father-in-law, Carol Barnes and Johnny Winters, sister-in-law Sarah DeGrave, and many beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Joni Brinkley Hutchcraft, her father, Scott Edgar, her grandparents, Bob and Shirley Brinkley, and her best friend, Angel Lenn Patton, who she loved and missed greatly. Kimberly Nicole was an exceptionally kind soul with a beautiful heart who loved her family deeply. To know Kim was to know pure love. Our Kimberly Nicole, “Kiki”, will be missed beyond measure by her family and friends.
Funeral services for Kimberly Nicole will be 1:00 PM Friday, July 19, 2024 at the J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg, Illinois with Rev. Steve Shea officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Friday at the J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to her Husband and children. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
