Obituary for Kerry Jo Mott
Kerry Jo (Little) Mott, born March 2, 1963 in Columbus, Ohio to Linda Frailey and Robert Little. Kerry grew up in Ridgway, Illinois. She was a smart, funny and outgoing girl.
After graduating from Ridgway, Kerry began her adult life by moving to Champaign, Illinois. Kerry was adventurous, loved life, was not afraid of new experiences and never met a stranger. She went on to live in Miami, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Huntington Beach, California. Kerry worked in the computer internet industry where she held many titles; from software engineer, trainer, to P.R. This work let her travel all over America allowing her to see and do things that most people only dream of experiencing. After losing her dad and brother, Bryan, Kerry thought the Lord lead her to becoming an R.N. at the age of 50. She graduated top of her class with high honors. After graduating nursing school, Kerry decided to return home to Southern Illinois. While visiting she met and eventually married John Michael Mott. When Kerry married Mike, she also became a step mom to Presley Mott. She was very proud of her new family. While Kerry worked as a traveling nurse, her family got to travel with her, she loved her family dearly. She loved her mom, Linda and brother, Bobby.
Kerry was gracious, friendly, supportive and loyal. You could not ask for a better friend or wife. She was a light to everyone that knew her and had a beautiful smile that will be sorely missed.
Kerry is survived by her husband, Mike Mott and stepdaughter, Presley Mott of Harrisburg, Illinois. Mother, Linda of St. George, Utah. Brother, Bobby Little of Las Vegas, Nevada.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Little and brother, Bryan Little. Kerry had acknowledged her faith in Jesus Christ and was a Christian.
Services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, October 28, 2021 at the J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dewayne Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at a later date. Friends may call from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Thursday at the J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home in Harrisburg, Illinois.
