Obituary for John Leinenbach
John Leinenbasch 87 of Harrisburg passed away Monday August 18, 2025 in Deaconess Illinois Medical Center in Marion. He was born May 2, 1938 in Harrisburg to Harry and Mary Fritts Leinenbach. He was married to the former Ann Gibbs who preceded him in death. John was a Navy Veteran and a retired over the road truck driver.
John is survived by a daughter Jonnita Leinenbach, a sister Deen Padget and 2 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Mary Leinenbach and a daughter Melissa Leinenbach.
Graveside services will precede burial at Big Ridge Cemetery at 1:00 PM Monday, September 1, 2025. Those attending should go directly to the cemetery. The J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
