Janis Lee Frese, 80, of Harrisburg, Illinois, passed away on November 23, 2017. She was born in Ursa Illinois on March 11, 1937 the daughter of Gerald and Anabel Bucher Houdyshell. She was married to William (Bill) Frese and he preceded her in death on December 22, 1994. She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church of Harrisburg, KC Ladies Auxilary, and Home Extension.
Surviving Janis is 1 son Tony Frese and wife Lisa of Harrisburg, and 1 daughter Jerri Harbison and partner Randy Hathaway of Harrisburg. 1 brother Jerry Houdyshell And wife Pat of Joplin, MO. 5 grandchildren Zackary Frese and wife Valerie, Gretchen Jones and husband Michael, Jason Harbison, Tyler Harbison, and Katharine Harbison. 2 great grandchildren Remington Jones and Adalae Frese.
She was preceded in death by her father Gerald Houdyshell, mother Anabel Bucher, and husband William (Bill) Frese.
Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 27,2017 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Harrisburg burial in Sunset Garden Cemetery. Fiends may call from 9A.M. to 11A.M. Monday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Harrisburg. The J.M. Weirauch Funeral home is in charge of .
