Janet Maynor 69 of Harrisburg passed away 3:10 PM Tuesday December 23, 2025 at Gallatin Manor in Ridgway IL. She was born May 22, 1956 in Chicago the daughter of Roy and Louise Pyle Maynor. Janet owned and operated the Sears Store in Harrisburg for over 25 years before retiring.
Janet is survived by 1 son Ryna (Tonya Taylor) Hobbs of Eldorado, 2 brothers Don Maynor of Kankakee and Richard Maynor of Vienna and 2 granddaughters, Kelsey and Lacey Hobbs.
Graveside services will precede burial at New Liberty Cemetery in Pope County 2:00 PM Saturday, January 3, 2026 with Rev. Scott Pilkington officiating. Friends are asked to gather at the cemetery. The J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home in Harrisburg is in charge of arrangements.
