Glenda Kay Wallace 80 of Harrisburg passed away peacefully at Saline Care Nursing and Rehabilitation on September 18, 2024 at 5:34 A.M. She was born November 10, 1943 in Harrisburg, IL to Glenn and Mabel (O`Roark) Wallace.
Kay is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (Unsell) and Brian Potter of Harrisburg and a son David and Dana (Joiner) Unsell of Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents Glenn and Mabel Wallace.
There will be no services except a small family gathering graveside per Kay`s wishes on Friday September 20, 2024. If you would like to make a donation in her honor, make it to the Harrisburg High School Class of 1961 which will be attending the Homecoming next week at Taylor Field in Harrisburg.
Glenda wanted to give a special thank you to Dr. Clay Ford and his staff for the many years of Kindness and care shown to her. A big thank you to the nursing staff at Saline Care Nursing and Rehab for the care and love given to her. She had many laughs with them. Thank you for Weirauch Funeral Home for the great compassion given to the family.
