Eugene Hughes 56, of Harrisburg passed away Monday, September 10, 2018 at Shawnee Rose Care Center in Harrisburg. He was born in Evansville, Indiana on December 29, 1961, the son of the late James Hughes and Barbara Stafford Allen.
Surviving Eugene is his mother, Barbara Allen of Raleigh, IL. Brother James C. Hughes, Jr. of Carrier Mills. Nephew, Keith Hughes. Aunts, Linda Furlong of Harrisburg, Rosalee Head, and Eva Harred. Uncles, William E. Hughes, John Stafford, and Jack Stafford.
His father, James C. Hughes SR. and nephew Jeremy Hughes preceded him in death.
Graveside services will precede burial 11:30 AM Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg, IL with Rev. Donnie Hughes officiating. The J.M. Weirauch Funeral Home in Harrisburg is in charge of arrangements.
