Obituary for Edward D. Zimmer
Edward D. Zimmer, age 87 of Converse, Louisiana passed away Sunday, May 5, 2019 at his residence. He was born on October 20, 1931 in Harrisburg, Illinois to Harry F. and Anna Catherine Roth Zimmer. Edward was married to Elizabeth Jane Zimmer who preceded him in death in March of 2000. He was a member of the Henrietta Methodist Church and proudly served and retired in the US Air Force.
Surviving are his half-brother, Joseph Zimmer, 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by both his parents and his wife, Elizabeth Jane Zimmer. Sons, Edward Dale Zimmer Jr. and David Allen Zimmer. Daughter, Cynthia Estelle McClintock and half-brother, Loy Eugene Zimmer.
Graveside service will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Harrisburg, Illinois. Arrangements have been made by the J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home.
