Obituary for Donald Gulley
Donald Gulley 70 of Harrisburg passed away 7:15 AM this morning at his residence. He was born August 2, 1945 in Harrisburg the son of Harvey and Virginia Woodside Gulley. Don was a retired Illinois state prison guard. He loved high school basketball and baseball and was a large fan of horse racing.
Don is survived by 2 sons, Trent & Shelley Gulley of Lanesville, IN and Greer Gulley of Harrisburg and 2 grandchildren, Jonathon and Cassidy Gulley. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 sisters, Mary Lou Short, Sylvia Nolen and Amona Faye Gulley.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday at the J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home with Ray Wallace officiating and burial will follow in Sunset Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 PM Friday, March 18, 2016 at the Funeral Home. For those who wish, memorial may be made to the Harrisburg High School Athletics Dept for the baseball program. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
