Obituary for Don Goolsby
Don Goolsby, age 60, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 surrounded by his loved ones at his residence in Shawneetown, Illinois. He was born August 6, 1962 in Rosiclare, Illinois to Thomas H. and Nola Potts Goolsby. Don married Debra Rodenhouse Goolsby and she survives.
Surviving are his mother, Nola Goolsby of Uniontown, Kentucky. Wife, Debra Goolsby of Shawneetown, Illinois. Son, Donald and wife Autumn Goolsby of Uniontown, Kentucky. Step son, Matthew and wife Penny Rodenhouse of Collinsville, Illinois. Daughter, Chasity and husband Gary Russelburg of Uniontown, Kentucky. Ten grandchildren, Raylee Burke, Chase Burke, Sawyer Goolsby, Rory Rodenhouse, Joey Rodenhouse, Tommy Bunnell, Zach Cooley, Lucas Cooley, Buddy Thomas and Jordyn Thomas.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas H. Goolsby, brother, Randy Goolsby and first wife, Kimberly Jackson Goolsby.
Funeral services will be 1:30 P.M. Sunday, October 9, 2022 at the J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg, Illinois with Rev. Harold Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Central Cemetery in Elizabethtown, Illinois. Friends may call from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Saturday, October 8, 2022 at the J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home.
