Obituary for Bobbie Watkins
Bobbie Watkins, age 81, of Nokomis, Florida passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020 in Venice, Florida. He was born on April 27, 1939 in Harrisburg, Illinois to Elmer and Fern Tison Watkins. Bobbie was a proud veteran of the US Army.
Surviving are his sons, Bobby Watkins Jr. of Nokomis, Florida and Richard Sparacino of Inverness, Florida. Daughters, Colleen DeVoll of Clare, Michigan, Cathlyn Conaway of Lake George, Michigan, Sandra Watkins of Floral City, Florida, Kathy Hamlin of Kankakee, Illinois, and Lori Watkins of Villa Grove, Illinois. Sister, Sarah Underwood of Harrisburg, Illinois. Twenty three grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents, brothers, Ezra Watkins, Billy Watkins and Chuck Watkins. Sisters, Brenda Watkins and Irene Fenwick.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at the J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg, Illinois with Rev. Leroy Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday, January 4, 2021 at the J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home.
